Store Policies



Scheduled appointments have a 10minutes grace period to allow for traffic or parking difficulties. If you anticipate that you will be later than 10 minutes, please call ahead to see if we have the availability to complete your service in full. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we might refuse partial or complete services.


Appointments can be cancelled 24 hours in advance by calling us. Please give at least 24 hours notice so that we have the opportunity to offer your reserved time to another client on our waiting list. We understand that sometimes emergencies happen, and it's not always possible to give adequate notice when you can't make an appointment.
In the event of repeated cancel/ no show appointments without proper notice then any recurring appointments, or future bookings will also be cancelled. If you wish to keep your scheduled appointments, please call the salon within 3 days of your missed appointment to secure them.

Quality Guarantee


Regular polish - applications may last in duration from 1 to 7-days depending on several factors specific to the client including: client lifestyle, client health and following of maintenance instructions. We do NOT guarantee the longevity of ANY regular polish product once your appointment has been completed due to the varying factors explained above, the product formulation and manufacturer’s instructions on regular nail polish.

Gel Polish – often referred to as *Shellac* - is a light-cured polish product that may last a duration up to 2 weeks depending on several factors specific to the client including: client lifestyle, client health and following of maintenance instructions.

However, there may also be additional complications in the application process, chemistry of the product and other factors that may cause product breakdown (peeling, lifting, fading, wrinkling, etc).

Due to this, we provides a 7-day guarantee period, in which if you experience any of these issues you may return to the salon to have a repair done FREE of charge.  However, it is at Heddon Nails and Beauty Salon’s discretion!  If we feel that your product breakdown was not caused by error in application and exceeds normal wear and tear you will be charged for the nail repair service!


If you are not happy with your nails, please make us aware of it before you pay. We will adjust them to your satisfaction or remove any enhancements or coatings that have been applied. No cash refunds will be given after you have left the salon.


For your safety, and ours, our premises are monitored with CCTV 24/7.

Treatment recommendations

It is vital for clients to make & book acrylic/gel refill appointments in order to maintain the nail enhancements and to avoid damage to the client’s natural nails.
Nail enhancements should never be self-removed by the client, as this can result in damage to the natural nails. We offer professional and safe removal of nail extensions and polishes at a cost.

Treatment Expectation



Clients should expect nail extensions to gradually wear-off with time. Extensive exposure to water or cleaning chemicals increases the likelihood in the lifting of the nail extensions. We recommend nail enhancements or refills every 2 weeks.
The long-wear of nail polish is also dependent on wear & tear clients should expect it to chip or peel. Regular polishes may last up to 3 days and whilst Gel Polishes should be guaranteed up to 2 weeks, however this is also dependent on the situation.

We reserve the right to decline any treatment if we deem it to be inappropriate or have the potential to cause harm.
Refunds/repairs are to our discretion. Generally defects caused within a week are repaired free.
